Concept
I as a musician am very inspired by the likes of Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) and Paul McCartney, who notoriously recorded (some) of their albums on their own. The concept of me being the conductor of an orchestra featuring only me is something that I enjoy very much. In 2024 I started experimenting with releasing music on Spotify for a school module, but in 2025 the releases are all meant to be serious. The name Arnold Layne is derived from Pink Floyd's first single.

Astronomy Domine
Pink Floyd's cosmic overture "Astronomy Domine" stands as one of the trippiest songs I have ever heard, I just had to make a cover of it. It doesn't have as much 'layers' as Lonerism, but can make just as much of an impact with the spacey lyrics and brilliant harmonies. Since it's the first Pink Floyd song to be released on an album, I released it as the first song of my Arnold Layne Project
Lonerism
Lonerism by Tame Impala stands as of my favorite psychedelic albums of all time. And in the summer of 2024 I had the crazy idea to cover the entire album, start to finish! It was a hell of a job to pull off, but in the end I finished it. The project helped me immensely with improving my production techniques and audio engineering skills. It was originally meant to be on a single burner CD for a friend of mine, but in January of 2025 I put it on streaming services.
Echoes
Pink Floyd’s monumental masterpiece ‘Echoes’ has always resonated deeply with me. Its sprawling, atmospheric soundscapes and profound lyrics take the listener on an unparalleled sonic journey. Covering this track was both a challenge and a privilege—it’s the kind of song that feels alive, evolving with each listen. It is the best cover I've done to date.
