About
Founded in January 2024 by Luuk Roovers, Robbe van Broekhoven, and Ralph Smits, DOORDEWEEKS began as a collaborative experiment during the Free Space module at Avans University of Applied Sciences. Over the span of two intensive weeks, we explored multiple musical genres and produced a diverse collection of songs.
On February 9, 2024, we independently released our debut project Huister & Luiver on SoundCloud. The project quickly gained attention within our academic community and online, earning us enthusiastic support and a growing fanbase. All members of the group successfully completed the module with high praise.
Following this success, we expanded our creative reach by performing live on the rooftop of Avans’ LA building—our first public show—and launching our own podcast. Despite minimal promotion outside of school corridors, the podcast has attracted over 200 unique listeners, a milestone we’re proud of.
